It is important to understand the ways in which we all uniquely ‘filter’ the information we receive and give out.
Realising that the customer is using his or her own set of filters really does enable you to build and maintain rapport with a wider range of people. Very rarely do we meet people on their ‘map of the world’. We all operate from our own perspective of the world, not from what the world actually is.
CDSS prepares you to move round to see your customers’ point of view and to let them see and feel that you have done that. Physical evidence of rapport is often more powerful than words or pictures. Whilst recognising that we all communicate through the same three senses - visual, hearing and feeling – we mostly have a preference. To maintain rapport with your customer, you may have to shift from your perspective to theirs.
CDSS draws substantially on the art of Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP).
We translate NLP principles into a style of communication which is as attractive as it is effective.
