The pre course workbook provides information regarding the skill of constructing your report and key examiner requirements.  It also includes a mock case study which you will be expected to prepare – as you would for the final exam. 

The face to face programme includes the completion of a mock exam to ensure participants are familiar with the format and experience of completing a 3 hour written exam, which again, may be something they have not done for a while.  This will then be marked and discussed in a group exercise.

This programme will be a massive benefit to participants as it ensures they have a clear structure to follow when writing their reports in the exam – thus saving valuable thinking time – and also ensures they have experienced the reality of preparing a fact find, and receiving some updates to the information just as they go into the exam.  Something they may be very familiar with in ‘real life’, but not so familiar with in an exam situation.
