Communication today has at one level become a lot easier than it was. Most of us have devices and applications which allow us to keep in touch much more easily than we could just a few years ago. At another level, though, it has become infinitely harder. Our colleagues are more likely to be physically remote from us, we have less time available to go and see people, and we are increasingly overwhelmed with the sheer quantity of data we have to process, making the important communication much harder to recognise.

At the same time, the need for genuine and meaningful communication between people has never been more important. As we continue to work at a relentless pace, we start to search for more meaning in the work we do. We question why we are working in an environment where human relationships have become weaker, and where the majority of communication is of a dry, technical nature.

The key to rebuilding relationships, improving morale and job satisfaction is rethinking the way in which we communicate, and putting more meaning back into these transactions. Authentic communication is a style which can be learnt, and this one day course aims to equip you with the essentials.
