Coaching Supervision: Supervising with the Team and Organisation in Mind

This course looks at how to supervise with the team and wider organisation and system in mind, as well as how to specifically supervise team and organisational coaching. The course focuses on:

  • Supervising with the team and organisation in mind – including practical supervision work in small groups
  • Understanding teams, team coaching, team stages, aspects of team development
  • Supervising teams and team coaching – including participation in a systemic team sculpt
  • Understanding organisation culture and change and supervising organisational coaching and consultancy – including work in small groups supervising organisational aspects of the supervisee’s role
  • Creating a coaching culture and effective coaching strategy in organisations
  • Thinking systemically
  • The psychology of groups and teams

Course Objectives

This module will lead to the participant being able to:

  • Supervise with the team and organisational context in mind utilising an in-depth understanding of the psychology and dynamics of both teams and organisations
  • Supervise team coaching and be able to analyse different models of teams and team coaching and appropriately use these in the service of the supervisee’s work
  • Critically understand and appraise at least two approaches of supervising organisational coaching and consultancy
  • Evaluate and apply different approaches and models to thinking and working systemically in supervision

Learning Path: Participants will have already completed the Foundation Coaching Supervision course. To complete the full certificate, participants choose two of the following four optional modules: Group Supervision for Executive Coaches Group Supervision Supervising in Teams and Organisations Working with Difference Participants must also complete the Advanced Coaching Supervision course, 2 tutorials, 10 hours of supervision on 50 hours of supervision practice. 375 + VAT if self funded
