Ms Emily Cosgrove

She has worked with Cardiff University’s Learning and Development Unit since 2001 as one of the core members of the team. In this role she has designed and delivered numerous educational mentoring and coaching schemes, which include the National Mentoring Scheme, Learning Coach Scheme and School Peer Mentoring schemes.

Emily is currently coordinating the national Aimhigher Associates Scheme, launched in 2008, to provide over 5,500 mentors for 21,000 learners in schools across England. She also provides mentor training to various organisations and works as an individual coach-mentor.

Emily originally worked in catering where she launched, developed and successfully sold two nationally recognised businesses. For her restaurant, The High Tide Café, she won the national Shell LiveWire Young Business Person of the Year.
